This condensed version of Hyperspace, Galaxy of Fire is exclusive to the Collins Encyclopedia Galactica. After strong public demand, this version now includes the revised material from the 2253 edition of Michael Branney and Simon Girvin's seminal work. After considerable debate with the publisher of the original work, Jacksons of New London, many of the sections have been expanded to include important details missing from the original CEG edition.

• The section on hyperspace physics has now been expanded to nearly 10 times it's original size. Thanks to the assistance offered by Simon Girvin a number of errors evident in the Jacksons edition have been corrected so this is the most accurate record of research into hyperspace to date!
• A team of Neurology and Exoneurology specialists have been consulted at all stages of the creation of the "Biochemical and Neurological" section. This is the only public access site where the latest research into the effects of Hyperspace on biochemical an neurological processes is available.
• New diagrams have been included to make understanding Hyperspace easier than ever.
